Grants Milestones

15 months: I think this is my favorite age thus far! He's really trying to use his words, loves talking on the phone and can make a few animal sounds when asked. He's been working on No and while its kind of funny now I'm sure it won't be when I really need him to do something.

14 months: He's a climber! Scaling walls (baby gates), climbing up on his lil couches to jump over to the large chair, crawling up ottomans to jump to chairs and then tables etc. The world is his jungle gym and I can't leave him for a second cuz he's always into something.

13 months: His first molars have broken through and when he eats with utensils with a little help Grant chooses to use his left hand. He also uses his left hand when using crayons and pens. Grant is clapping and can say momma, dad, dog, and cat regularly.
12 months: Grants favorite song is itsy bitsy spider. When I sing it he tries to motion his hands to the lyrics like I do. He is fascinated by wheels and spinning them from his stroller as well as other peoples strollers to all his push toys and play cars. He loves playing with other children and isn't shy at all.
11 months: He likes to take long walks down the driveway and doesn't want his hand held, he can do it by himself. He knows push, pull, up, down, on, off, open, close, etc..and will say "done" when he's finished eating before he starts to wiggle out of his high chair. Loves doing somersaults! He gets in a V position so I can flip him. Peek a Boo is still his favorite game.
10 months: Loves to play chase back and forth on the couch or around the otoman and down the hallways. He uses the laundry basket and walks it around the house like a push toy. Number 7 and 8 tooth are coming in now.
9 months: He's waving "hi" and "bye" and is so close to taking his first steps. He holds my hand and pulls me along where he wants to explore. He's a climber and he's babbling a lot which sounds like long conversations. He's got mommy and daddy down pretty good. More like mama and dada.
8 months: 4 more teeth have broken through on the top and Grant has been practicing with his sippy cup and pincer grasp with cheerios. He eats thin slices of watermelon with supervision and papaya out of the skins. He's been crawling all the way up the stair case for weeks now and his best bud is the cat.
7 months: He's Crawling! And pulling himself up on the crib, couch, us! His communication skills are developing and its noticable through head movements and facial gestures.
6 months: Knows how to play peek-a-boo and is sitting up by himself. Becoming more focused on story time and the pictures rather than eating the books.
5 Months: 2 teeth broke through on the bottom and he's had his 1st haircut already.
4 Months: Rolling over from back to front and trying hard to scoot on his belly.
3 Months: Discovering his voice, cooing and holding small toys
