Free Fun

I love finding free things to do and the Learning Center in Canoga Park is wonderful.  The learning opportunities range from a reading area, to art, science and music.  There are drawers everywhere with toy bugs and magnify stations with shells and other objects found in nature.  Drawers with musical instruments, a magnetic station with letters, numbers, and objects, the drawers are endless. There is a craft table, a coloring easel with 3 sides and trays of crayons, building stations with cabinets filled with foam blocks. This place is endless fun, I can't even name everything and clean and organized.  But the largest site in the room is the tree house with stairs leading to the top of the tree and a slide on the other leading down. We spent 2 full hours here and probably could of spent the day here. I can't say enough about this place except I wish it was closer to our home.

My little blur running thru the tree house

Train set with drawers full of more tracks and trains

Hammering away on the work bench and sharing

Magnetic wall, also a different one on the inside with letters and numbers

Words I know

Today's word is Mango.  I always tell Grant what he's eating but out of the blue today he repeated me.  Totally didn't expect him to say it back to us. The milestones are so much fun, thank goodness for video.
Other words that Grant can say :
Mom, Dad, Grandma (Ma), no, go, dog, cat, keyes, nose, uh oh, ow, and Mango!
