We go off roading once a month and we've done sand, snow, rock, a little bit of everything. Most adventures we have the opportunity to camp if we want but we choose to drive up in the morning or stay at a hotel if its too far. Dave gets enough camping with the National Guard and the last 5 years in the Marine Corps. Prior to our trip Grant went on a bike ride and wouldn't stay on the side walk which took longer to get to our destination so I asked me why he was doing that. He said he was "off roading". So yes, he loves it! Octotillo Wells has an area of obstacles like a ski range marked beginner, intermediate to black diamond. Gave us some practice to manipulate the jeep and Dave let me drive a bit of the trip. Much more exciting when you are the driver.
Random carved graffiti with this moon face that I thought was cool
Obstacle course. Several people got stuck on the pipes on the right. I took video of the guys tires just spinning and then you hear everyone in the background laughing. Poor guy, lol
Grant usually passes out from the bumping. He tells us when he's awake that he wants to "bump, fast!"
I got to drive!
Being in the car at this little of an incline actually felt like we were straight up and down or we would of went higher.
