Fun with the Animals

 The Santa Ana Zoo is a hidden treasure.  Grant saw lots of monkeys swinging from their vines, a camel, ostrich, goats, pigs and more. He wasn't quite sure what to make of it all but when the pigs started squealing he got excited and yelled back at them over and over again.

Baptism, Easter Vigil

 Wearing his fathers Christening outfit from 33 years ago that was handmade for him. What a special day! Grant was the center of attention and loving it and had the priests laughing because he was so animated.

Being baptized at the Monastary of the Angels where the Dominican nuns have withdrawn from the world in such a way as to embrace everyone in the heart of Christ (cloistered nuns).  Very special event, only 2 other baptisims have been performed here, Grant was the 3rd.

Play Date

My first experience at the playground experimenting with sand, shovels, and slides. Didn't really want to play in the sand, but liked holding the shovel.

First Meal, Mmmmm

Received this book "First Meals" as a gift from the Lowrey's. There are a lot of great ideas in it to make tasty treats from first tastes to toddlers.

Carrots were a success! I sure hope Grant likes veggies because his daddy prefers fruit.

And Grant even shared his carrots with his elephant.

BoUnCy, bOuNcY, oooh, I'm dizzy

First time trying the jumper out and Grant went for 20 minutes straight.  Its all fun and games until someone gets whip lash or knocks a tooth out. Grant loves being tossed around. And I get the giggles listening to Dave's commentary. "bouncy, bouncy, bouncy"

Best Friends

My best friend at day care.  He helps me pick up the toys I drop and we stroll to the park to hang out.

My baby actually wakes up with bed head. No wonder he needed a hair cut before his 1st birthday
